Investing in People With Strength

I am a small cap investor. I follow small cap stocks very closely. Especially when a company has a great product and is lead by someone with principles, ethics, and strength of character. One company in that exact area is Bandwidth (ticker: BAND). And here’s why:

Everything I know about the communication API industry, the way we can build platforms and companies on top of messaging and voice, the way we can connect voice and messaging protocols to AI or apps or anything of the sort (robots are next), Bandwidth has been at the forefront of it. More importantly, the CEO and founder has been at the forefront. He’s been the CEO and founder for 15+ years, relentlessly building. You’ll never see his name in the headlines. I don’t think flashy headlines are the goal. Building something great is.

When others caved to the Covid hysteria, he stood firm. Never left the office. Never succumbed to the fear. And in the end, he was right. Even The New York Times has now admitted what so many already knew—Covid was a lab leak, and we were lied to. Some people even tried to attack their CEO for his views. He stood strong. His team was back in the office years ago, working, building, creating.

Again, he was right.

And this is why I am writing this post about him. To salute him. I know so few people who stood this strong amid all the fake noise.

I respect the heck out of him for this. It takes major character.

I look forward to seeing what he and the team build next: bandwidth.com

Important note: This is just my view for my own writing and blog. Always do your own research! Thanks for reading and good luck.
