An Abundance of Energy

It’s rather interesting to me think about energy as endless. I am only thinking about this now because I read that NVIDIA wants to power all of its data centers with renewable energy by 2025.

Ultra powerful AI data centers powered by the endless power of the sun. It’s hard not to get behind this. The sun’s light is on every single day.

More importantly, all to often we are reminded that energy is scarce, it’s running out, and it’s only getting more expensive. There is a sort of fear mongering process that surrounds energy. This kind of thought process can really reshape how people perceive markets, the world, and make it look bleaker than it really is.

The energy market is exciting!

What I mean is, I was recently reminded that the opposite is true about energy and that, actually, we should be approaching it from a perspective that is endless, and all around us, and that a little human ingenuity will make it increasingly more abundant:

• Oil
• Gas
• Wind
• Solar
• Nuclear
• Geothermal
• Hydropower
• Biomass
• And some I am still missing like Dyson spheres or volcanic energy in El Salvador powering Bitcoin mining – Google it.

With enough innovation, there is energy all around us. I also think this is a wise thing to teach our children so that they are not scared of running out of energy, but excited by its endless potential.
